Guest Configuration Artifacts and Examples
You know I hate to ask... But, are 'friends' electric?
In the last post we talked about Guest Configuration and Azure Policy and walked through a customer scenario of using these services to solve a customer challenge by 1st checking for presence of a 3rd party anti-virus the customer uses and if discovered checking for and setting a registry key and value to set Defender for Windows Anti-Virus in passive mode.
There some steps involved in building a authoring machine and compiling and building the package, with those now detailed and written I started posting the artifacts on my GitHub Repository. You can now use these to learn or eliminate steps 1 through 4 and use the artifacts as built to publish them in your own environment and test. More to come as I want to try some additional techniques in the PSDResources module.

*A note on the WDAVPassive artifact. It is designed to check for a specific 3rd party Ant-Virus TrendMicro Apex One so if you need to use this, you may need to start earlier in the steps and use the WDAVPassive.ps1 and rewrite to check for your 3rd party Anti-Virus product.
